The Apollo Theater

As the largest performing arts institution dedicated to Black culture and creativity, the Apollo Theater celebrates and amplifies Black artists and voices across the African Diaspora. With programming spanning its iconic main stage and the intimate Apollo Music Cafe, the theater needed a cohesive event design system that would honor its heritage, engage contemporary audiences, and support emerging artists in an innovative setting.

The work extended the Apollo’s established identity while creating a distinct visual language for the Apollo Music Cafe. Rooted in tradition yet bold and contemporary, each piece was designed to strengthen the Apollo brand and deepen its connection with audiences and the Harlem community.
